With Text Message Banking you can:

  • Quickly access your Cardinal Bank checking, savings, and money market account balances
  • View the last five transactions in your primary checking account
  • Transfer funds to your primary account
  • Receive text balance alerts
  • Activate a second phone
  • Change your primary account
  • Change “transfer from” account
  • Change alerts

How It Works

You text the commands below to 454545 and the information is sent to your phone via text message.

BAL Primary account balance
BAL ALL All account balances
BAL CHK Balance for all checking accounts
BAL SAV Balance for all savings accounts
LAST Last 5 transactions in primary account
TRANS TRANS and dollar amount to transfer from pre-selected source account to primary account

Get Started

To get started:

  • Log in to Online Banking
  • Go to the Mobile Banking & Alerts link
  • Follow the on-screen prompts to register your mobile phone
  • Receive the one-time activation code to verify your device
  • Begin banking using the text messaging feature of your mobile phone
