Community Involvement

Cardinal corporately sponsors several volunteer efforts throughout the year. Opportunities range from our Financial Literacy efforts, sponsored service projects, and our annual fundraising event, the Cardinal Bank Charity Classic (founded in 2002), which benefits our partnership with Inova Kellar Center, as well as the Cardinal Bank Community Fund. This event has raised over $3 million dollars to provide support and services to the mission of Inova Kellar and of the Fund.

Cardinal Bank also encourages its employees to actively participate in the communities in which they live. Our employees volunteer in a variety of capacities to benefit organizations across the region which support strong and healthy communities. Activities range from fundraising to conducting presentations, mentoring, service projects and membership on various Boards and Committees for charitable and service organizations of all types.
