Welcome Business Bank Customers

The conversion of The Business Bank to Cardinal Bank is scheduled for the weekend of March 7, 2014.  Please refer to the Conversion Guide and other mailings you may have received regarding the conversion of your accounts.

On behalf of both The Business Bank and Cardinal Bank, we would like to welcome The Business Bank clients to the Cardinal family. We are confident that you will find our combined institution better able to meet all of your banking needs, while continuing to deliver the personalized service you’ve come to expect as a client of The Business Bank.

The Business Bank’s reputation for service and its management philosophies make it a natural partner for Cardinal. Merging our two companies will provide you with many benefits, including a network of over 30 conveniently located branches, as well as a broader ATM network, and enhanced wealth management and mortgage services. Our shared culture ensures that we are always mindful of the importance of exceptional service and always guided by the principles of conservative management. Cardinal Bank and The Business Bank have both enjoyed “Superior” ratings quarter after quarter from Bauer Financial for their safety and soundness, and have both earned a stellar reputation as community leaders. Cardinal has been recognized for its community involvement by local and national organizations for its civic and philanthropic efforts, including the award of “Business of the Year” from the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce.

In February, you will receive a Conversion Guide about the transition to Cardinal Bank.  This Guide provides detailed information about the conversion of your existing Business Bank accounts and services to Cardinal Bank, and introduces you to some of the additional products, features, and services that you will have access to as a Cardinal Bank client.  We ask that you please carefully review the information you are provided. At Cardinal, we hold the privacy of our personal customers in the highest regard. With this merger, all Business Bank customers are now covered by the Cardinal Bank Privacy Policy.

The systems conversion process is scheduled to take place the weekend of March 7, 2014. Until that time, please continue banking with The Business Bank as you have been – use your ATM or debit card, write checks on your Business Bank account, and visit your usual banking office to conduct in-person transactions. If you have any questions prior to the systems conversion, please do not hesitate to contact your Business Bank client manager, or call The Business Bank’s customer service at 703.230.9105. Beginning March 10, when our systems conversion is complete, the Cardinal Customer Care Contact Center will be staffed with both Business Bank and Cardinal employees to assist you in this transition, and can be reached at 703.584.3400.

While we know that change can be challenging, we both want to personally assure you that everyone at Cardinal Bank and The Business Bank is committed to making this process as smooth as possible for each and every client.  We hope you will take advantage of the expanded financial services that will be available to you as a client. With a shared commitment to exceptional service, and a shared commitment to serving our communities, we know that you will enjoy being a part of Cardinal Bank.

Sincerely,
