Investment Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in meeting their financial goals through personalized, in-depth counseling and recommendations of appropriate investments in equity and debt instruments
  • Help to determine proper strategy based on anticipated needs to risk tolerance
  • Supervise all aspects of handling the customer account from money and securities transfers to verifying the accuracy of statements
  • Answer client questions and concerns
  • Ensure proper account documentation
  • Verify and monitor client financial condition on a continual basis
  • Keep current on markets and securities of importance to clients
  • Continually review research materials and financial news for areas of opportunity and concern
  • Use current information along with prior knowledge and experience to determine the most appropriate investments for each client
  • Conduct investment seminars for clients and prospects

Requirements:

  • College degree
  • Three years experience as a Financial Consultant with a recognized brokerage firm
  • Series 7 & 65 required

Senior Credit Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Credit administrator for the bank’s Commercial Lending Department
  • Responsible for monitoring and evaluating the credit quality of new and existing commercial loans and overseeing the creation of loan presentations for submission to the Loan Committees
  • Such tasks are accomplished by providing direction and input to a staff of several credit associates
  • The position further requires the maintenance of strong communication ties with lending personnel for the purpose of balancing loan production against senior management’s desired level of portfolio risk

Requirements:

  • BS or MBA degree with 10-15 years experience in a commercial lending environment
  • Must have well developed credit skills learned as a loan officer, credit analyst or loan review analyst
  • Previous business development and management experience is essential
  • Must also have strong verbal and written communication skills

Sales Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Investment Consultant when opening new customer accounts on our computer system, assuring that all required information and documentation are provided and that the file is complete
  • Open and sort incoming mail and interdepartmental correspondence; includes sorting and filing of completed documents returned from clients and Investment Operations; maintaining a central file of all Mutual Fund and Annuity statements, resolving reason for returned mail items, and sorting and routing of Consultant’s daily commission and activity reports
  • Accept buy and sell orders over phone for Liquid Asset Account and Alliance Money Market Accounts. This includes verifying availability of money on sell orders and trading authority of person calling in trade
  • Resolve purchases and sales related problems discovered on the Money Line Report from the computer system
  • Includes communication with Investment Consultants and Investment Operations to discover error and follow-up to insure the resolution
  • Administration of retainage/escrow accounts, including preparation of agreements, new account documents, receipts and disbursement as directed by authorized party
  • Assist Investment Consultant with documentation requirements, including transaction posting in client books, attaining proper documentation for any changes to a client’s account i.e. settlement instructions for purchases and disbursements; address changes; account updates; and objective changes

Requirements:

  • Must exhibit strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills and background in application of current business English; knowledge of investment terminology a plus
  • Organizational skills, ability to track and follow-up on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to handle sensitive information, confidentiality
  • Ability to work with aggressive, goal-oriented individuals under continual deadlines in executive-like atmosphere

Real Estate Lending Associate

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to real estate lending officers and department head in the origination, underwriting and administration of commercial real estate loans and accounts
  • Effectively correspond with customers, law firms, title companies, general contractors and other bank departments via phone, email and in-person
  • Required to handle multiple tasks, fulfill requests and problem resolutions
  • Direct responsibility for the coordination of construction loan funding and serves as a key role in the closing of complex commercial real estate loans

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • College Degree preferred
  • One or more years in retail banking or commercial/mortgage/real estate lending
  • Strong verbal, communication and analytical skills required
  • PC and data entry skills required to include MS Word and Excel

HR Generalist/Benefits Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the administration and analysis of various employee benefit plans such as life, health, dental insurance, retirement plans, vacation, sick leave, leaves of absence and unemployment
  • Assist Human Resources Director with daily activities to support internal clients
  • Interact with third party administrator in the administration of the 401(k) plan
  • Verify contributions and approve distributions
  • Participate in 401(k) testing
  • Compile payroll data for benefits and other appropriate deductions to be withheld from applications and other records
  • Prepare computer input forms, enter data into computer files
  • Review payroll changes and verify accuracy
  • Prepare and issue record data concerning transfer of employees between departments
  • Verify payroll reports for accuracy
  • Process benefit terminations, including notification to COBRAServ

Requirements:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Bachelor’s degree; or one to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two years related Human Resources Generalist experience preferred

Loan Documentation Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the production, review, processing and safekeeping of legal loan documentation for all consumer, commercial and real estate loans
  • Responsibilities include setting up new loan files and the ability to maintain all material in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Also requires the ability to process all incoming loan documentation including legal documentation, financial information, and all other supporting materials
  • Responsible for reviewing paid and closed loans to insure that all obligations have been satisfied and provide appropriate notification to borrower, settlement agents and public record agencies
  • Prepare legal documentation for the closing and settlement of loan transactions for consumer and commercial loans
  • Insure that each transaction complies with bank loan policies and applicable government regulations

Requirements:

  • Strong background and experience in bank loan administration, documentation, and operations
  • Additional skills required are strong organizational skills, attention to detail, good business/legal reading and writing skills, strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Also requires experience with software applications to include Microsoft Windows applications

Responsibilities:

  • Perform internal auditing services for the organization by conducting performance, financial and compliance projects
  • Assist in identifying the organization’s risk areas and the development of annual audit plan
  • Document audit issues, review and analyze evidence, and prepare reports and presentations
  • Represent internal audit on organizational project teams and at management meetings
  • Maintain all organizational and professional ethical standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree required
  • Two years experience in auditing, accounting, business analysis or program evaluation
